The MSK ultrasound can allow a physician who is trained to gain a much better idea of the anatomy and pathology in real time. We can see the anatomy in motion, and this often allows us to find hidden pathology that has not been seen with other diagnostic testing, such as MRI and CAT scan.

We also do our injection procedures under direct visualization of ultrasound. This allows Dr. Weglein to see the pathology and to make sure the needle is placed precisely in the correct position. This precision guidance allows for maximal results in our treatment procedures.
